Join us in Downtown Champaign on Monday, September 1, 2025, for the annual Champaign County AFL-CIO Labor Day Celebration. The parade steps off at 11:00 AM, traveling through downtown before ending with a picnic at Neil Street Plaza from 12:00–2:00 PM.

About the event
Celebrate Labor Day in Downtown Champaign on Monday, September 1, 2025 at the Champaign County AFL-CIO Annual Labor Day Celebration. Parade line-up begins at 10:00 AM, with the parade starting at 11:00 AM and traveling Chestnut St/Main St → Walnut St → Chester St → Neil St → Washington St. A community picnic follows from 12:00–2:00 PM at Neil Street Plaza with food, music, magic, bouncy houses, and family fun. Wear your union shirt for 10% off at The Esquire, and bring donations for the Hygiene Pantry. This free event is open to the public and welcomes families, neighbors, and friends to celebrate together!
