Celebrate the season with Holiday Book Reading & Coloring at two Downtown Champaign favorites: Mother Ghost/AKA Yarn (14 E Washington St) and Jane Addams Bookstore (208 N Neil St). From 12–4 p.m., families are invited to stop in, get comfortable, and enjoy a cozy lineup of winter stories paired with festive coloring pages.
A Sensory-Friendly Hour from 12–1 p.m. at both locations will offer lower noise, a gentler pace, and a calm setting for children who prefer a more relaxed environment.
At Mother Ghost/AKA Yarn, kids can settle into a warm, inviting space surrounded by yarn, colors, and soft textures, the perfect backdrop for holiday storytelling and creative coloring sheets.
At Jane Addams Bookstore, families can explore towering shelves of books while children enjoy a quiet nook filled with winter-themed coloring pages.
