Sip and Stroll Around Downtown
During specific Downtown events, the City of Champaign has authorized "Downtown Festival Districts" that allow patrons to purchase alcoholic beverages from participating Downtown businesses and carry those drinks on Downtown sidewalks during designated times. This program encourages people to wander from location to location, exploring everything Downtown has to offer.

Alcohol must be purchased from a participating business (no bringing your own beverage)
-
All alcohol must be carried in a paper, plastic, or aluminum container provided by the business.
